satisfied but dreaming

Marla – and not because I’m unhappy with my own first name, but because it’s unique and mine really isn’t. If I were ever famous or a designer, it would have to be different from my real name. I’m not serious about changing it, but only because I don’t think I ever will have that need or desire. I’m not exactly shooting for the stars here, so I don’t think I’ll have to, you know?

Dreams. I have dreams – most every night I have a dream. I often wonder if this is simply me fantasizing what I’d like to happen, like not to happen, or simply something I’ve regurgitated into different form from the previous day(s), or even a revelation. How do we figure it out? How do I know? What if something so real in a dream has not a glimmer of promise in the real world?
